The Cypress Bonsai has regal looks, graceful leaves and branches and cinnamon brown bark.
Normally found in swamps in southern United States. It reached Japan in the last century.
Some helpful tips on its care:
1. Cuttings can be inserted into sand and let grow for two years. Your next Cypress Bonsai.
2. In the third year start training. Using wire train the trunk and branches. Cut off the long branches. You want a low and short branched Bonsai.
3. Shorten or trim the branches in the fall.

5. Every two or three years repot the tree.
